Whether that weapon option is unlocked

Weapon options first unlock through class progression, then require Weapon Parts to buy. A gun's mods and appearance can carry across Horde classes, so switching roles does not mean rebuilding every weapon purchase. Compare the class tools before deciding which part of a loadout needs attention.

1. Class progression
Unlock a mod option.
2. Weapon Parts
Purchase the unlocked mod.
3. Equip the gun
Use the gun’s mods across Horde classes.
Keep collected Parts
Complete a successful extraction.
Weapon Parts are kept after successful extraction; Energy is a separate mission resource.

Keep Energy and Weapon Parts separate

Energy: choices during the mission

Your squad shares Energy income and each player spends separately. Supply Caches sell weapons, equipment and Perk upgrades. A turret can be upgraded with Energy or removed to use as a heavy weapon.

Weapon Parts: purchases beyond the run

Side objectives can award Parts. The collected Parts are kept after successful extraction, so the Raven pickup and recovery rules matter before you consider the next purchase.

Squad Perks expire with the current mission. Coins and Iron belong to a separate cosmetic progression system; they should not be used as a substitute number in a Weapon Parts budget.

Before spending your Parts

  1. Choose the class and gun you intend to use.
  2. Check whether the option has unlocked on the class track.
  3. Read the effect and current purchase cost in the game.
  4. Buy an option that answers a problem you actually encounter, then test it in a suitable mission.

Compare the current effect and Parts cost in the loadout menu before buying. Versus uses fair starting loadouts without Weapon Mods; do not expect your Horde purchase to grant a PvP advantage. The getting-started guide covers movement and aiming changes worth learning before chasing upgrades.
