Check the missing item first

  1. Confirm your exact GPU model and hardware ray-tracing support. A familiar brand name alone is not enough.
  2. Check available space on an SSD, rather than adding up free space across unrelated drives.
  3. Compare your CPU, memory and Windows version against the full column.
  4. Use the built-in benchmark to evaluate your own settings; do not infer frame rate from this list.

The first-session settings checklist covers field of view, film grain and chromatic aberration. Match your account and purchase to the platform path before interpreting a license problem as a hardware failure.

Graphics features are conditional

DLSS 4.5, FSR Redstone, frame generation and multi-frame generation require compatible hardware. The game also lists HDR10, ultrawide 21:9 and 32:9 support, remappable controls and a benchmark. The benchmark overlay does not count generated frames.

On Windows 11, install the Xbox PC app to benefit from supported shader preloading, even if you play through another PC store. Launch support starts with AMD; NVIDIA support is planned later in October. Handheld optimization does not guarantee a Steam Deck frame rate.

If your device cannot run the Windows game, read the cloud streaming requirements. For a friend's mixed-store group, check cross-play and saves separately from performance.
