First decide: downed or killed?

DBNO: a teammate is down

This is a rescue situation, not a dropped-tag resurrection. Medic's Stim Vaporizer can revive downed players in its area, including members of other squads. Check the class abilities when choosing who will provide support.

KIA: a teammate is killed

The player drops COG tags. If your own squad collects them, take them to any Supply Cache. If a member of another squad collects them, resurrection is immediate.

A full squad wipe consumes a Squad Life. If all Squad Lives are exhausted, the mission fails and awards partial XP.

Killed teammate recovery has two COG-tag pathsKIA: COG tags dropSame squad picks upDeliver tags to any Supply CacheAnother squad picks upImmediate resurrectionA full squad wipe spends a Squad Life
1. KIA
The killed player drops COG tags.
2a. Same squad collects
Deliver the tags to any Supply Cache.
2b. Other squad collects
The killed player resurrects immediately.
This is the KIA recovery flow. DBNO rescue is a separate action.

From completed objective to retained Parts

  1. Finish the main task. Completing an objective is not the same as finishing extraction.
  2. Clear the landing zone. Remove the threat preventing the Raven pickup.
  3. Wait for the Raven. If an invasion blocks the route or extraction, address that blocker.
  4. Board before the window closes. At least one player in your squad must leave successfully to complete the mission.

Decide whether one more task is worth it

If your squad is carrying Parts and has little time left, compare another side objective against the recovery and extraction work still ahead. The session planner helps budget mission ranges, but it does not predict invasions, deaths or a successful escape.

The Weapon Parts guide explains what the retained resource buys. Use the mission overview to distinguish Energy spending, side rewards and your main objective.
