Choose a mission before you queue
| Mission | Typical time | Main task |
|---|---|---|
| Blitz | 15–20 minutes | One or two objectives |
| Siege | 20–40 minutes | Several objectives around the battlefield |
| Horde | 50–60 minutes | Defend a fixed point through ten waves |
Three ways to spend a Horde session
Blitz
- Typical time
- 15–20 minutes
- Main task
- One or two objectives
Siege
- Typical time
- 20–40 minutes
- Main task
- Several objectives around the battlefield
Horde
- Typical time
- 50–60 minutes
- Main task
- Defend a fixed point through ten waves
Choose Blitz when you want a shorter commitment; choose Horde when your party wants a sustained defense. Use the mission time planner to leave room for another run, rather than treating the lower end of a range as a promise.
Your squad has its own job
Your four-player squad shares the map with two other squads. Each squad has objectives, so a nearby firefight may belong to another team. Support is useful, but agree whether your own squad is moving to its next R.I.G. objective before splitting up.
- Secure
- Clear an area.
- Calibrate
- Hold the designated areas.
- Repair
- Recover and install parts.
- Defend
- Protect the scanner.
- Horde
- Defend the device for ten waves.
The four class roles help your squad decide who controls space, who marks targets and who provides recovery.
Resources change your next decision
Energy income is shared within the squad, while players spend it separately at Supply Caches. Coordinate your equipment and Perk choices so each player supports the squad. Equipment and grenades share an inventory slot, so picking up one can change what you carry.
Side objectives can give Weapon Parts, equipment and mission-only Squad Perks. Decide whether the extra task fits your remaining time. The mod and resource guide separates permanent purchases from upgrades that last only for the current mission.
Finish with an extraction
- Complete your main objectives.
- Clear the landing zone and wait for the Raven.
- Board in time; at least one member of your squad must escape.
An invasion can block the cache or extraction. Handle that interruption before assuming your run is finished. Read the recovery and extraction flow before risking collected Weapon Parts on another side task.
